Memorial Celebration & Funerals
Quartessence offers thoughtful music to help memorialize and honor your cherished loved one. From formal religious ceremonies to background music for memorial luncheons or receptions, we can help choose and plan musical selections that evoke memories, represent your loved one, pay tribute, celebrate life, or provide comfort. Playlists can include classical, folk, jazz, pop and rock or customized songs for remembrance.
String quartet: $750 first hour, $500 each additional hour
String trio: $650 first hour, $450 each additional hour
Additional Services
Custom music arrangement: $50-$80
Soloist – yours or ours: $250
Amplification with audio engineer: $150
Change of ensemble within a single event: $150
Outdoor Events Policy and Packages
We love weddings, garden parties, and other events held outdoors! The exquisite mix of nature, music, and celebration can be magical.
That said, outdoor venues do present special challenges and require back-up planning.
Our valuable instruments must be protected from direct sun, wind, rain, drizzle, mist, birds and insects, and confetti and blowing bubbles. And, depending on the setting, our acoustic instruments may need a little amplification boost. We can supply a tent for protection, and we can bring a small sound system.
And we’ll help you plan to accommodate weather surprises, but we can’t perform in temperatures below 60 degrees, and we can’t perform in rain/drizzle.
We want your day to be perfect and we will do everything we can to make it work, given the above limitations.
We strongly recommend a backup, planning for an indoor alternative in case of unfavorable weather.
Due to the nature of outdoor events, package pricing may differ. We do not refund fees if we cannot play due to inclement weather conditions.
Travel
Yes, we travel! Mileage fees for events 15 miles outside of Madison vary depending on the location of the event. Please contact us for an exact quote.
