For all outdoor events, add $100
Ceremony Music. We’ll work with you, and coordinate with your officiant, to include music you choose for: • gathering/seating (about 20 minutes ahead) • processional(s) • ceremony moments • recessional • dispersing & greeting the newlyweds.
Reception & Dinner Music. Amp things up with your playlist in any style-contemporary pop and rock, jazz, oldies, folk and lots more, all in stylish string

Quartessence offers thoughtful music to help memorialize and honor your cherished loved one. From formal religious ceremonies to background music for memorial luncheons or receptions, we can help choose and plan musical selections that evoke memories, represent your loved one, pay tribute, celebrate life, or provide comfort. Playlists can include classical, folk, jazz, pop and rock or customized songs for remembrance.

Outdoor Events
We love weddings, garden parties, and other outdoor celebrations. The exquisite combination of nature, music, and celebration can be truly magical.
Outdoor venues, however, do require a bit of advance planning and a few practical accommodations:
- Because sound disperses more easily in open air—particularly in breezy conditions—our acoustic instruments may not project as fully as they do indoors. Depending on the setting and the size of your gathering, we may provide light amplification to ensure balanced, comfortable sound for you and your guests.
- Our instruments also need protection from the elements, such as direct sun, wind, rain, drizzle, mist, and airborne debris from birds, insects, trees, bubbles or confetti, and the like. To safeguard them, we’ll provide an elegant tent when needed.
- Finally, given Wisconsin’s climate, we find that outdoor music is best suited to events held between mid-May and mid-October. For the comfort and safety of both musicians and instruments, music services are not provided when temperatures fall below 60°F or exceed 95°F.
We want your outdoor event to be a beautiful success, and we’ll do everything possible to it work! Our decades of experience have shown that the accommodations outlined above play an important role in ensuring musical quality while protecting our instruments.
